Pour lui et d'autres, une faction américaine complote pour prendre le pouvoir et serait derrière l'occupation du Capitol le 6 janvier 2021 par l'extrême droite coagulée autour de Trump. La théorie du complot est ici plus que pertinente pour comprendre les mouvements parfois peu visibles qui secouent le pouvoir américain.
"January 6th was the culmination of decades worth of groundwork. We can trace many disinformation and infiltration campaigns back to about 2011. But the broader effort reaches back to the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. And those efforts in turn have roots that go back to the 1930's.
This essay series is an effort to tell this story in a way that is as succinct as possible, but no moreso. Clearly, this narrative is long, complex, and could be expanded to book length.
Some may feel bewilderment at the scope of this history, and be tempted to put it aside for that reason. Readers should resist that temptation. This history is well-documented and widely corroborated.
The work of multiple researchers and historians has intersected to provide a fuller picture of the historical forces that led to the events of January 6th. The story centers on the Council for National Policy (CNP) and its members and affiliates who were the most active organizers and participants. But the deeper question is why this history unfolded the way it did."
L'histoire est longue et tortueuse mais elle vaut la peine, d'autant qu'il y a une version audio. Mais attention à ne pas plonger trop loin. Certains américains commencent à avoir la fâcheuse tendance à tout mettre sur le dos de Putin, qui est une merde, mais qui n'est qu'une pièce rapportée dans une lutte qui semble toujours être une déclinaison de la bataille entre les yankees et les cowboys.
